Michael_Headshot

Michael Chien is a graduate of the System Design and Management (SDM) Program at MIT and a commander in the US Coast Guard. He currently serves as Cyber Strategy Division Chief in the Office of Cyberspace Forces (CG-791) where he is responsible for implementation of the Coast Guard Cyber Strategy of enabling operations and protecting marine critical infrastructure.


Michael is a certified acquisition program manager and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Coast Guard Academy, a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.S. degree in Engineering and Management from MIT.

beatriz Carramolino

Beatriz Carramolino is a Senior Program Manager and Instructional Designer at an MIT xPRO - an MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) business unit. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Valladolid, Spain.

Beatriz manages, helps design, and delivers online programs for professionals in technical and business areas for professionals around the globe. She served as the program manager and instructional designer for MIT xPRO’s System Thinking course.

Zachary Peters is a Program Manager at MIT xPRO - an MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) business unit. He holds a Bachelors in Mathematical Sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Zachary helps run many of the courses at MIT xPRO including Entrepreneurial Negotiations and Systems Thinking among others.
